As per the San Jose Police Department, a stranger, whom the family does not recognize upon reviewing the video, entered their residence in San Jose around 1 PM on Monday and subsequently departed with three-month-old Brandon Cuellar.

The authorities have released surveillance footage revealing a man calmly walking down the sidewalk with a black baby carrier containing a partially visible white blanket. Police reported that the boy’s grandmother, responsible for his care while his mother was at work, contacted them around 1 p.m. to report the abduction. She had taken three-month-old Brandon Cuellar into a bedroom while unloading groceries from her car, and within minutes, the infant was taken, leaving the police searching for answers.

In the absence of specific details about the suspect’s vehicle, an Amber Alert was not issued by the police. However, the FBI Child Abduction Response Team has joined the investigation, utilizing all available resources to locate Cuellar.
On Monday night, the authorities made an urgent plea to the public for assistance in finding the missing baby. Sergeant Camarillo expressed, “Today, someone is walking around with a 3-month-old baby that they did not have yesterday. If you have this baby, please give that baby back to its mother. We can deal with consequences afterward.”
The suspect is described as having short hair and wearing a gray baseball hat, a black face mask, black pants, and a dark blue shirt. The family has informed the police that they do not recognize the individual.
